Product Specification

-
V60FDA124 is an AS568-124 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.

V60FDA124 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 1.1791 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 1 1/4 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation.
