The V70212 is an AS568-212 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.859 in (21.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.137 in (28.88 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include oil and gas, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
