Ordered as V70347, this is an AS568-347 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
