-461 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

The V70461 is an AS568-461 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.505 in (419.23 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
