V5X108 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 108 mm (4.252 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 118 mm (4.65 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
