Ordered as V5.7X109.2, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 109.2 mm (4.299 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 120.6 mm (4.75 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
