This o-ring is supplied in AS568-122 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm), catalogued under part number VB75122. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
