V3X125 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 125 mm (4.921 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 131 mm (5.16 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
