The V4X150 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 150 mm (5.906 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 158 mm (6.22 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
