The V2X160 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 160 mm (6.299 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 164 mm (6.46 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
