The V3X160 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 160 mm (6.299 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 166 mm (6.54 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

Common environments for this compound include high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
