The V75166 is an AS568-166 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
