The V3X182 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 182 mm (7.165 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 188 mm (7.4 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
