The V3X212 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 212 mm (8.346 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 218 mm (8.58 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
