V5X220 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 220 mm (8.661 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 230 mm (9.06 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
