The V2X22.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22.5 mm (0.886 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 26.5 mm (1.04 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
