The V5X225 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 225 mm (8.858 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 235 mm (9.25 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
