APG stocks the V4X23, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 23 mm (0.906 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 31 mm (1.22 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
