The V4X28 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 28 mm (1.102 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 36 mm (1.42 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
