Ordered as V2X38, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 38 mm (1.496 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 42 mm (1.65 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
