The V2.5X39 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 39 mm (1.535 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 44 mm (1.73 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.
As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
