Ordered as V3X39, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 39 mm (1.535 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 45 mm (1.77 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
