This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 4.2 mm (0.165 in), a cross section of 1.9 mm (0.075 in), and an outside diameter of 8 mm (0.31 in), catalogued under part number V1.9X4.2. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
