V4X45 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 45 mm (1.772 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 53 mm (2.09 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
