APG stocks the V6X470, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 470 mm (18.504 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 482 mm (18.98 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.
