V2X51 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 51 mm (2.008 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 55 mm (2.17 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
