Ordered as V4.5X66, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 66 mm (2.598 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 75 mm (2.95 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and aerospace.
