The V3X77 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 77 mm (3.031 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 83 mm (3.27 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
