This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 80 mm (3.15 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 84 mm (3.31 in), catalogued under part number V2X80. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
