The V2X87 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 87 mm (3.425 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 91 mm (3.58 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
