The V4X96 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 96 mm (3.78 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 104 mm (4.09 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
