Ordered as V90018, this is an AS568-018 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
