Part number V90102 is an AS568-102 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.049 in (1.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.255 in (6.48 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
