This o-ring is supplied in AS568-148 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm), catalogued under part number VB90148. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.
