Product Specification

-
Part number VB90153 is an AS568-153 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.487 in (88.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.693 in (93.8 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.

You will find this material specified across high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.

Stocked as VB90153 and sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 3.4788 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 3 1/2 inch. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application. APG can cross-reference from an existing part number, a drawing or a physical sample if this size is not an exact match.
