-331 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

VB90331 is an AS568-331 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.645 in (67.18 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
