Product Specification

-
APG stocks the FS70009, an AS568-009 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aromatic fuels and jet fuel, ozone and weathering, and extreme cold. Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is widely chosen for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance and the standard choice for static aerospace fuel system seals. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). Exposure to high-temperature dynamic service or brake fluids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aviation fuel systems, aerospace and defense, and military ground vehicles.

Order part number FS70009, sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.0902 g. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
