METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 55A (Type A)

Ordered as FVB-0055-A, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal supplied with a nominal shaft size of 55A. The v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include construction equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fluid power.
