METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 70A (Type A)

Ordered as FVB-0070-A, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal supplied with a nominal shaft size of 70A. The v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, water, and hydraulic fluids. Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in general industrial maintenance, construction equipment, and fluid power.
