The FVB-0180-A is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal with a nominal shaft size of 180A. This v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and water. Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids call for a different compound.
