METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 180S (Type S)

FVB-0180-S is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type S V-Ring Seal built to a nominal shaft size of 180S. In service, this v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against water, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

Typical settings include construction equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general industrial maintenance.
