METRIC NITRILE V SEAL (Type L)

The FVB-0400-L is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type L V-Ring Seal. This v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Applications involving strong acids or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

Typical settings include automotive, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
