METRIC NITRILE V-SEAL V-800-A

APG stocks the FVB-0800-A, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal with a height of 15 mm. A v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and water. It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or ketones.
