V-10-S VITON V-SEAL 10MM

Ordered as FVV-0010-S, this is a Viton® (FKM) Type S V-Ring Seal. The v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
