As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Verify compatibility before use with amines or ketones and esters.
