METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

This v-ring seal is supplied in Viton® (FKM), catalogued under part number FVV-0060-A. It acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include chemical processing, aerospace, and oil and gas.
