METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE S

APG stocks the FVV-0080-S, a Viton® (FKM) Type S V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
