METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

This v-ring seal is supplied in Viton® (FKM), catalogued under part number FVV-0090-A. It acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
