METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE S

APG stocks the FVV-0095-S, a Viton® (FKM) Type S V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.

FVV-0095-S ships individually. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
