METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

This v-ring seal is supplied in Viton® (FKM), catalogued under part number FVV-0150-A. It stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
